How can I lose weight? This is a question I very often asked myself. Recently I have had another reason for asking: how can i lose weight, because my best friend Jasmine is getting married and I was asked to be her maid. It is obvious that I don"t want to look like a piece of fat pork and I need to look good. I want to get a very nice dress and help me best friend on that very special day. But I cannot look disgusting. So how can I lose weight? Do I have to go on a diet and starve every day? Do I have to go to a gym every day? I want to lose weight and I need to do it fast but do I have to suffer like this? I decided to go a doctor to find out what the possibilities are. I made an appointment and visited my doctor on Friday. We had a very nice and interesting discussion. When I asked: How can I lose weight, I received an answer which I had actually expected but the doctor also explained that this is the only way to lose weight to keep the level for a long time, avoiding yo-yo effect. He told me that about 80 percent of the people who lose weight on a diet regain the lost kilograms after their diet ends. Sometimes they regain even more. So I need to be careful and follow his pieces of advice.
