Up till that day I never thought that such things may happen in reality. Of course I was aware that they do happen, somewhere in the world, but not here! Not in our small town, not in our neighborhood! Come on, that always sounded kind of weird for me! If somebody told me that our bank is going to be robbed I wouldn"t ever believed any of these words! I used to work there and I know everything about the security standards. In my humble opinion, there is no way to get to the strongbox of our bank without alarming the police underway. There are the alarm buttons everywhere around the place so that any person of the staff is always capable of letting the cops know when anything goes wrong. The alarm systems are modern and seem to work very good. Everything seems to work very good and there seems to be no place for mistakes that could lead to dangerous situation. Still, there was a theft in our bank and I am not kidding here. What is interesting is the fact that the robbers took only the gold bullion. Just as is if they just knew where to look for it. it had to be somebody who had worked for us, somebody aware of where the gold bullion was! That is the only theory that I can come up with. Gold bullion theft with all the money left just lying on the shelves. That is interesting.
